Depdiknas pun meluncurkan cara, supaya para murid mendownload buku lewat internet.

Peserta Kontes Menulis Panduan KlikSaya.Com Periode Final

Nama : Ribhararnus Pracutian
Email : oknoorap@gmail.com

Virtual Search Engine

I've make script for virtual search engine. Its next major milestone is crossing a level last seen in the late 19th century! There are a few reasons for the Loonie’s continued strength, namely interest rate parity and economic strength. As a result of the Fed cutting rates for the second time in as many months, the Canadian benchmark interest rate is now equal to the American federal funds rate, both at 4.5%. In addition, record-breaking oil and commodity prices will ensure that Canada’s economy will expand further, perhaps as the same pace as its currency. Reuters reports:

If the U.S. Central bank signals another rate cut in December, or if it goes against expectations and chops rates by 50 basis points, it could pull the rug out from under an already unsteady U.S. dollar and clear the way for the Canadian currency to shoot higher.

Read More: Loonie eyes 130-year high if Fed makes big rate cut

New Book From J.K. Rowling has completed her first book not to feature teen wizard Harry Potter an illustrated collection of magical fairy stories titled "The Tales of Beedle the Bard."

Only seven copies of the book are being printed, Rowling said Thursday. One will be auctioned next month to raise money for a children's charity, while the others have been given away as gifts.

Rowling drew the illustrations herself and provided the handwriting for the five stories that make up the collection of fairytales.

"The Tales of Beedle the Bard" is mentioned in the final Potter book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," as a gift left by headmaster Albus Dumbledore to Harry's friend Hermione, and provides clues that help destroy evil Lord Voldemort.

"'The Tales of Beedle the Bard' is really a distillation of the themes found in the Harry Potter books, and writing it has been the most wonderful way to say goodbye to a world I have loved and lived in for 17 years," Rowling said in a statement.

The volume, bound in brown morocco leather and mounted with silver and semiprecious stones, will be auctioned at Sotheby's on Dec. 13 with a starting price of $62,000. Proceeds will go to The Children's Voice, a charity that helps vulnerable children across Europe.

"Deathly Hallows," the seventh and final installment in Harry's adventures, was published in July. The seven books have sold nearly 400 million copies and have been translated into 64 languages.

Rowling told the British Broadcasting Corp. that the book of fairytales had helped her say goodbye to Harry's world.

"It's not about Harry, Ron and Hermione, but it comes from that world," she told BBC radio in an interview broadcast Thursday. "So it's been therapeutic in a way."

Rowling said she was working on a new book, "a half-finished book for children that I think will probably be the next thing I publish."

On Wednesday, Rowling and the makers of the Harry Potter movies filed a lawsuit against RDR Books, a small U.S. publisher that plans to bring out a companion volume based on the Harry Potter Lexicon fan Web site.

Rowling has said she plans to produce her own encyclopedia of the wizarding world and says the book would infringe on her intellectual property rights.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://oknoonet.blogspot.com/2007/11/new-book-from-jk-rowling-mothers-of.html' title='New Book From J.K. Minnich, a professor of earth sciences who teaches fire ecology at the University of California, Riverside. “When do we declare the policy a failure?”

Fire-management experts like Professor Minnich, who has compared fire histories in San Diego County and Baja California in Mexico, say the message is clear: Mexico has smaller fires that burn out naturally, regularly clearing out combustible underbrush and causing relatively little destruction because the cycle is still natural. California has giant ones because its longtime policies of fire suppression — in which the government has kept fires from their normal cycle — has created huge pockets of fuel that erupt into conflagrations that must be fought.

“We’re on all year round,” said Brett Chapman, a firefighter with the United States Forest Service who worked 15-hour shifts this week in the Lake Arrowhead area east of Los Angeles.

The main problem is that many in California are ruggedly obstinate about the choice they have made to live with the constant threat of fire. Even state officials who are interested in change concede it could take a decade — and more catastrophic wildfires — before it happens.

“If you’re going to live in paradise,” said Randall Holloman, a bar and restaurant owner in Cedar Glen, which is in an area that has burned twice in four years, “you’re going to have to deal.”

In San Diego County, which has borne the brunt of the recent fires, three out of four homes built since 1990 are in the dangerous zone where open spaces and housing meet. These are the most vulnerable and exposed places in fire season because wildfires by and large start in national forests, recreation areas and other publicly owned lands. About half of the land in San Diego County is publicly owned, much of it in the Cleveland National Forest.

Had this week’s fires burned in the same locations in 1980, about 61,000 homes would have been within a mile of a fire. By 2000, the number would have grown to 106,000 homes, and this year it was 125,000, according to an analysis by the University of Wisconsin.

Nine fires continued to burn in a four-county area of Southern California, and officials said 20,575 homes were still in danger.

Lighter winds and higher humidity have enabled firefighters to go on the attack more, but many of the fires remain unpredictable and worrisome.

Fire crews at the Santiago Canyon fire in Orange County are trying to make a stand on a ridge-top old truck trail to prevent the fire from burning several homes and heading into Riverside County.

Capt. Phil Rawlings of the Orange County Fire Authority said Saturday the fire there, which has consumed 27,600 acres, is in an area that has not burned in decades, making its path difficult to predict and its intensity particularly acute.

“We don’t know how the fire will burn,” Captain Rawlings said. At least 200 homes could be threatened depending on how the fire proceeds.

There was also concern about a fire near the century-old Palomar Mountain Observatory in San Diego County.

It will take more than a week to put the fires out, officials said, and probably longer to stamp out flare-ups.

The long-term battle is one that fire experts suggest cannot be won, even with the better building codes and evacuation plans that have become a staple of government here and across much of the West. As the events of this week illustrate — at least 480,000 acres burned, 1,575 residences destroyed and 7 people killed — the cycle roars on with higher stakes, greater risk, and the grim certainty that it will happen again.

The California state fire marshal, Kate Dargan, said discussions had begun at the highest levels of government on some of the toughest proposals: curtailing population growth on the wildland margins or a sweeping overhaul of how the public lands are managed for fire danger. But decisions are perhaps 5 to 10 years away because of the enormity and complexity of the task.

“In the meantime,” Ms. Dargan said, “we’ll have more people living out there, and if averages hold, we’ll have two more catastrophic incidents like this before the decisions get made.”

Many Californians say they want the best of both worlds — life in the danger zone and more fire protection — and are frustrated that they do not have it.

continue

I'm Like Racism, Racism is Good, Life for Racism

What is Racism, this is short description about racism "Racism is a very touchy subject for some, as issues concerning free speech and Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights come into play. Iraqi lawmakers denied that their decision to continue working through the end of July was in response to pressure from Washington and said they were trying to make progress on legislation. Some U.S. leaders, including Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates, recently have visited Baghdad, the capital, to urge lawmakers not to take a summer recess.

The apparent agreement on sharing of oil revenue is the first sign of tangible legislative progress in months, but Iraqis have announced compromises before, only to see legislation stall.

The military reported Saturday that roadside bombings killed four U.S. troops northwest of Baghdad, an airman in Tikrit and two troops in east Baghdad in an attack that was followed by small-arms fire. A soldier also was killed when a patrol in south Baghdad was hit by small-arms fire.

Two soldiers died Saturday in noncombat incidents, one in Baghdad and another in Tikrit, the military reported.

The British also reported one military death.

The attacks brought the U.S. military death toll since the March 2003 invasion to 3,557, according to icasualties.org, an independent website that tracks the deaths in the Iraq theater.

In Baghdad, police reported finding 15 bodies, all presumed victims of sectarian violence.

In Hillah, 60 miles south of the capital, police said a car bombing killed four people and injured 18.

Hospital officials in Samarra, 60 miles north of Baghdad, reported that five civilians were killed in clashes between police officers and militants. Residents also reported that after the clash, police dragged the body of one of the militants through the streets, then hung it from a telephone pole.

The U.S. military said early Saturday that it had killed at least 17 Al Qaeda militants on the fourth day of a targeted combat operation in Diyala province.

Since the operation began, at least 55 suspected Al Qaeda fighters have been killed and 23 detained, the military said. The U.S. also said seven other suspected militants were killed in the last two days in operations targeting Al Qaeda leaders.

Although the U.S. military generally has refrained from issuing body counts of suspected militants, military officials have been releasing more numbers as they highlight new operations designed to ferret out Al Qaeda cells in Al Anbar and Diyala provinces and around Baghdad.

In hope of easing violence, U.S. officials have been pushing for the Iraqi parliament to pass an oil revenue-sharing law, set a date for provincial elections, agree on constitutional reforms and approve legislation easing restrictions on government employment and benefits for former members of Saddam Hussein's Baath Party.

The revenue-sharing law is the only goal that has appeared readily achievable, though legislation has yet to be introduced in parliament. Some Kurdish and Shiite Muslim lawmakers said Saturday that they had reached agreement on how to divide the oil revenue.

"The [Shiite] United Iraqi Alliance together with the Kurds have agreed to this law," said Wail Abdul Lateef, a Cabinet member who is with a secular coalition. "This law is very important for Iraq, which is living under enormous poverty even though its citizens are living over a gold lake."

Kurdish and Shiite blocs control about 80% of parliament seats. Mahmoud Othman, a Kurdish lawmaker, said several issues related to revenue sharing were being debated, including how much power a state-run oil company would have. But he has said that the government of the semiautonomous region of Kurdistan had agreed to take 17% of the oil wealth.

"They agreed upon this very important item about how they divide the revenues, and they agreed they will discuss the other points," Othman said.

U.S. officials remain cautiously optimistic that the oil law will pass this summer. Approving the law would show that the central government can function and it would provide an important first agreement for the sects and regions to share the country's wealth, a U.S. Embassy official said last week.

"I think people understand the significance of these laws," the official said. "These will lock Iraq into a political and economic power-sharing agreement on Iraq's most valuable natural resource."

California - Space Shuttle Atlantis Landings

Source from Reuters

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif.— U.S. space shuttle Atlantis landed at Edwards Air Force Base in California on Friday after a fiery descent through the Earth's atmosphere that capped a two-week mission to the International Space Station.

The shuttle with seven astronauts on board touched down at Edwards at 3:49 p.m. EDT (1949 GMT), shimmering in the heat and sending up a plume of brownish-gray dust as its rear wheels hit the 15,000-foot (4,570-metre) runway.

"Welcome back. Congratulations on a great mission," astronaut Tony Antonelli radioed Atlantis commander Frederick Sturckow from Mission Control in Houston as the spaceship's parachute billowed out in the thin desert air.

Flight directors had hoped skies would clear for one of two landing opportunities on Friday at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the shuttle's home port, but dense clouds and rain prevented that.

Conditions at its back-up landing site in the Mojave Desert, north of Los Angeles, were far more favorable with clear skies and barely a trace of the winds that had sparked concern about touching down at Edwards earlier.

NASA had to forego two landing opportunities in Florida on Thursday as well because of bad weather. The shuttle cannot land in rain because it could damage the thousands of black ceramic tiles that protect its underside from the searing heat of re-entry through the atmosphere.

NASA would have preferred to land at Kennedy to save the expense and time required to piggyback the shuttle back across country on a modified Boeing 747.

Power-Producing Solar Panels

The shuttle had been on a two-week construction mission to the International Space Station, a $100 billion project of 16 nations that is a little more than half finished.

The shuttle carted a third pair of power-producing solar wing panels to the space station and its crew conducted four spacewalks to install them, fold up another older wing that will be moved to a new location and install equipment needed to prepare for the arrival of additional research laboratories.

The astronauts also were called upon to repair a hole in the heat shield on Atlantis, which arrived in orbit with a corner of an insulating blanket torn loose.

NASA has been meticulous about scouring the shuttles for damage once they reach orbit since a heat shield failure triggered the destruction of the shuttle Columbia in 2003 and the deaths of seven astronauts.

The crew also delivered a new astronaut to the station. Clayton Anderson replaced station flight engineer Sunita Williams, who is returning home aboard Atlantis after a record-breaking six months in space.

Williams surpassed Shannon Lucid's 188-day mission for the longest spaceflight by a woman.

NASA needs to fly 12 more construction missions to finish building the station before the end of 2010, when the shuttle fleet is due to be retired.

The U.S. space agency also would like to squeeze in two resupply missions and a final servicing call to the Hubble Space Telescope.

Atlantis' mission at the space station was overshadowed by a major computer breakdown in the Russian modules that could have led to the station being temporarily abandoned. Work was continuing on the station computers.

New Senator for Wyoming

8 days after 31 Wyoming Republicans filed their names to fill the state's vacant Senate seat, an orthopedic surgeon and former rodeo physician has emerged as the newest U.S. Senator. Gov. Dave Freudenthal announced earlier today that Dr. John Barrasso will assume the Senate seat of the late Senator Craig Thomas, who died of leukemia on June 4.

A controversial state statute required the governor, a Democrat, to appoint a member of Thomas' party, a Republican. The roster of Republican hopefuls, pulled together by Wyoming's G.O.P., included the son of former U.S. Senator Alan Simpson and a grandson of former U.S. Senator Cliff Hansen. In the delicate balance of the U.S. Senate, Freudenthal's decision means there will continue to be 49 Republicans and 49 Democrats, with two independents caucusing with the Democrats.

Dr. Barrasso, who writes the newspaper column "Keeping Wyoming Healthy" and is a familiar voice for health advice on statewide TV, distributed apples and oranges at a day-long forum in Casper on June 19 where the state central committee whittled the field from 31 to three. He was joined as a finalist for the Senate seat by former State Treasurer Cynthia Lummis and Cheyenne attorney Tom Sansonetti. The governor also invited each to meet with him privately to discuss the central concerns of Wyoming voters.

Gov. Freudenthal's decision was not expected until early next week. He met with the three candidates on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons before his announcement early Friday, saying, "While I don't intend to indulge the speculation on why I made this decision, I will say that I hope I made the right choice." Barrasso, 54, will serve as Senator until a special election in November 2008.

There had been some speculation that Freudenthal would pick the weakest from the field, thus giving his party, the Democrats, an advantage in 2008. But initial reaction to Barrasso's selection has been positive from conservatives. Bill Sniffin a widely-syndicated Wyoming newspaper columnist praised Barrasso's appointment, noting that the new Senator presented himself as "very, very pro-life." Sniffin added, "He's one of those rare people — it's not going to be long before he'll become very prominent on the national scene."

Barrasso ran for the Senate in 1996, losing in the primary to U.S. Senator Mike Enzi. He managed to keep a high profile through his public health advocacy. Bill Luckett, communications director of the Wyoming Democratic Party, noted that Wyoming will be the only state in the country in 2008 with two U.S. Senate seats on the ballot and that the Senate appointee may be vulnerable in the lead-up to the vote, essentially because of his conservative pedigree. Says Luckett: "There would probably be a better than normal chance that Barrasso faces a primary challenge just because the process by which he got his position was limited to members of the Republican Central Committee, whose members are probably substantially to the right of your average Republican voter. The fact is, he's never won a statewide election. He is, in a sense, somewhat of a rookie and by virtue of that likely to be a target." Nevertheless, says Luckett, "I think we need to give Senator Barrasso some time to get settled into the U.S. Senate and spend some time there and show the people of Wyoming what he's all about before we start making any judgments."

The statute compelling Gov. Freudenthal to select a member of Thomas' own party has received national attention. The Washington Post wrote that the "notion of party consistency makes eminent sense. In states that do not have such restrictions, governors sometimes choose replacements from their own party rather than from the party of the previous Senator." Notably, in 2002, after Democratic Minnesota Sen. Paul Wellstone died in a plane crash, Independent Party Gov. Jesse Ventura replaced him with fellow Independent Party member, Dean Barkley.

The two territories by comparing

Palestinians of the West Bank (about 2.5 million): From Israel's founding in 1948 until the 1967 war, the region was administered by Jordan and the Palestinians there tended to identify with the more secular societies of Jordan, Syria or Lebanon, where many went to study. With greater freedom of movement, a healthier economy, and better educational opportunities than in Gaza, the Palestinians on the West Bank generally feel superior to their Gazan cousins.

But there are divisions within West Bank Palestinians -- between the roughly 40 percent who are refugees from Israel and most of the rest, who are historically tied to the land. There are distinctions between residents of different cities, between city folk and country folk, between different clans and between rich and poor. While Fatah continues to dominate the territory, Hamas' popularity has grown.

Palestinians of Gaza (1.4 million): From Israel's founding in 1948 until the 1967 war, the region was administered by Egypt, which fostered a strong sense of Palestinian identity. Many Gazans studied in Egypt and were influenced by Islamist movements there, particularly the Muslim Brotherhood. That influence gave birth to Hamas in 1987 and the radical Islamist group has steadily grown in the territory as economic conditions worsened.

But there are divisions within Gaza's Palestinians -- between the roughly 70 percent who are refugees from Israel and the rest, who are historically tied to the land. Clan identities are stronger in the densely populated confines of Gaza. While Hamas won the 2006 national elections, Fatah continues to enjoy significant support, particularly among the large number of people who work for the near-bankrupt Palestinian Authority -- only Fatah has the backing of the international community necessary for the financial support that can pay their salaries.

Palestinian exiles: Palestinians make up a majority of the population in Jordan, where they also tend to be moderate and relatively well off. But Palestinian refugees in Syria and Lebanon live in impoverished camps, where many support radical factions.

Israeli Arabs (1 million plus): Arab Israelis tend to be much more politically moderate than the other groups.

Bush could double force by Christmas

05-22) 04:00 PDT Washington -- The Bush administration is quietly on track to nearly double the number of combat troops in Iraq this year, an analysis of Pentagon deployment orders showed Monday.
The little-noticed second surge, designed to reinforce U.S. troops in Iraq, is being executed by sending more combat brigades and extending tours of duty for troops already there.
The actions could boost the number of combat soldiers from 52,500 in early January to as many as 98,000 by the end of this year if the Pentagon overlaps arriving and departing combat brigades.
Separately, when additional support troops are included in this second troop increase, the total number of U.S. troops in Iraq could increase from 162,000 now to more than 200,000 -- a record-high number -- by the end of the year.
The numbers were arrived at by an analysis of deployment orders by Hearst Newspapers.
"It doesn't surprise me that they're not talking about it," said retired Army Maj. Gen. William Nash, a former U.S. commander of NATO troops in Bosnia, referring to the Bush administration. "I think they would be very happy not to have any more attention paid to this."
The first surge was prominently announced by President Bush in a nationally televised address on Jan. 10, when he ordered five more combat brigades to join 15 brigades already in Iraq.
The buildup was designed to give commanders the 20 combat brigades Pentagon planners said were needed to provide security in Baghdad and western Anbar province.
Since then, the Pentagon has extended combat tours for units in Iraq from 12 months to 15 months and announced the deployment of additional brigades.
Taken together, the steps could put elements of as many as 28 combat brigades in Iraq by Christmas, according the deployment orders examined by Hearst Newspapers.
Army spokesman Lt. Col. Carl S. Ey said there was no effort by the Army to carry out "a secret surge" beyond the 20 combat brigades ordered by Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
"There isn't a second surge going on; we've got what we've got," Ey said. "The idea that there are ever going to be more combat brigades in theater in the future than the secretary of defense has authorized is pure speculation."
Ey attributed the increase in troops to "temporary increases that typically occur during the crossover period" as arriving combat brigades move into position to replace departing combat brigades.
He said that only elements of the eight additional combat brigades beyond the 20 already authorized would actually be in Iraq in December.
The U.S. Joint Forces Command, based in Norfolk, Va., that tracks combat forces heading to and returning from Iraq, declined to discuss unit-by-unit deployments.
"Due to operational security, we cannot confirm or discuss military unit movements or schedules," Navy Lt. Jereal Dorsey said in an e-mail.
The Pentagon has repeatedly extended unit tours in Iraq during the past four years to achieve temporary increases in combat power. For example, three combat brigades were extended up to three months in November 2004 to boost the number of U.S. troops from 138,000 to 150,000 before, during and after the Jan. 30, 2005, Iraqi national elections.
Lawrence Korb, an assistant defense secretary for manpower during the Reagan administration, said the Pentagon deployment schedule enables the Bush administration to achieve quick increases in combat forces in the future by delaying units' scheduled departures from Iraq and overlapping them with arriving replacement forces.
"The administration is giving itself the capability to increase the number of troops in Iraq," Korb said. "It remains to be seen whether they actually choose to do that."
Nash said the capability could reflect an effort by the Bush administration to "get the number of troops into Iraq that we've needed there all along."

Why to increase site trafic

Everyday thousands of domains names expire with the site owners simply abandoning them as one would an old rusted car at a junk yard.

Why do they simply walk away? For some it may be that they have lost interest, while others it may be that they are not reaching their intended goals. The bottom line about all this is that this piece of junk now can serve as an opportunity for you to capitalize on.

So why would you and how do you take advantage of an abandoned website? Firstly, you will need to search for domain names that are about to expire. There are numerous sites that will provide to you for a small fee a list of domain names that are about to be thrown on the junk heap. Once you have a list, search for some domain names that are relatively close to your own. Chances are that the same site visitors that visited the site may be interested in your site. So you can take advantage of the site traffic from this forgotten site. Sure, it may not be much but even if it has a steady trickle of traffic you can make something out of it.

Once you have found a few domain names you think you can work with, you should then evaluate the power of the name. You can do this by checking its Google page rank. Many site owners spend a considerable amount of time and money building their page rank. Next, type in the URL of the domain in any search engine and see how many external sites are linking into the site. Link exchange programs take a long time to build, here again you can take advantage of another site owner’s effort.

After you have purchased the domain name, the only thing to do is to have the site traffic redirected to your website. This is easily accomplished by making some customized changes in your control panel which is usually located with your host company.

source: http://www.articlesfactory.com/

Sejarah menyatakan, terjadi beberapa keajaiban semasa Zarathustra dilahirkan.

Semasa Zarathustra dilahirkan, Raja Durasan, pemimpin kaum Magi, Iran Merasa sangat marah.

10 Tips to Consider When Planning Your Family Vacation

10 Tips to Consider When Planning Your Family Vacation
Originally post by Randy Luxinger Luxinger

Well, the time is finally drawing near. That long awaited and much anticipated family vacation is fast approaching. You will be off on a new adventure soon.

Oh my, suddenly panic sets in as you scramble to get everything pulled together. You search and search, but the reservation receipts and travel itineraries are nowhere to be found. You break into a cold sweat and begin mumbling out loud. This has quickly turned into the vacation from hell! You now find yourself screaming until suddenly you are awakened to find it was a bad, bad dream.

Your vacation is supposed to be relaxing and carefree, and booking this anticipated fun-filled event should be stress free as well. When planning your vacation it is always best to research your destination, accommodations, and itineraries well in advance. That's how Ward and June Cleaver would do it, right? Well, reality says it doesn't always work that way. Job deadlines, appointments and other day-to-day events often throw a wrench into the mix. Besides, there is always that last-minute deal out there somewhere to pull you through. And where do you suppose your own Wally and Beaver would like to go on vacation?

After you have decided that you are going on a family vacation, the next step is to decide where to go. The tourism industry offers many destinations that will welcome you but certainly there are some choices that are better than others for family vacations. Since you have decided that you will go on vacation with your children, it is clear that this must be the primary consideration in choosing the destination.

Here are some quick travel tips to help you choose and to get the most out of your family vacation:

Start making your travel plans early. The earlier you can commit yourself to your travel plans, the more options you will have and the better the deals are likely to be

Be firm and decide early about transportation arrangements

Focus on just a few places instead of many

Stay in one area and discover it's many dimensions: people, history, museums, music, food, monuments, etc. Excess travel can eat up precious vacation time

Read as much as possible about the place(s) you are visiting. Browse your public library and read all available guide books for background information and to get a sense of the local culture

Get a map of your destination and become familiar with it ahead of time

Once you are on your way, get your nose out of the guide book. This should only be for researching your destination prior to your trip.

Travel light - enough said!

Don't try to do everything. Slow down and build some time into your schedule to relax, play and be spontaneous, especially since you are traveling with kids.

Stay alert and hang on to your possessions

A great tool to involve the whole family in your vacation experience is to create a travel journal for your children. They can use a notebook and write a story telling what they experienced each day. You can create a game for them where they count something they see, other children they meet, or towns, etc., and they can keep that information in their journal.

Our favorite activity has always been to give each child a map of the United States and have them color in each state from which they saw a license plate on the trip. On a recent trip to Branson, Missouri we were able to find over 40 different states. We located them as a team in order to avoid arguing over who saw one first and this created more of a sense of working together.

Another option to quell the "are we there yet" syndrome is to download some good positive audio books onto their MP3 players. Get your kids interested in an audio book and you've got the makings of a successful vacation. In her audio book, Tips for the Savvy Traveler, author Deborah Burns says: "The single most important ingredient of successful travel is a positive attitude." Having a positive attitude will allow you to turn what might be disappointment into a learning experience. For example, bad weather may cancel some plans and force you indoors only to discover something you would not have learned otherwise.

In conclusion, choosing the destination and itinerary for your family vacation is totally up to you! These are merely suggestions. You are the one who knows best what is interesting for your children and what is not. Take into account what is suitable for them and what is preferred by you.
